College Compass Program for Class of 2027 students and families

Sundays @ 4 pm EST in 2026: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1 & 2/22

Hi! I’m Susannah Files, a college admissions counselor based in Bethesda, Maryland. I support high school students and their families across the country. You can read more about my experience here.

I hope that you’ll enroll in my upcoming College Compass Program, beginning with a five-part live webinar series for 11th grade students and their parents. From both my work and experience as a mom, I understand the value of giving 11th grade students and families thorough and practical strategies to apply immediately. The program curriculum is packed with insights to optimize admissions and financial opportunities and lays out a framework for the admissions process to minimize stress and avoid mistakes; the series will be interactive and hopefully fun for your student, too! Pre-meeting student homework to build on each lesson and “Ask Me Anything!” Q&A are included in each 90-minute group session.

Our five group sessions include:

Session 1: The Big Picture: College admissions today & holistic admissions

Session 2: Planning Ahead: Preparing for the holistic admissions review (strengthening factors in your control)

Session 3: Building a Balanced College List

Session 4: Telling Your Story: the Common App & keeping yourself on track

Session 5: Everything Else: College admissions potpourri & our next steps together

After our five group sessions, I will further support each student and family through the college admissions process with two additional individual strategy sessions; Common Application guidance and reviews before submission; personalized Demonstrated Interest guidance; and access to my favorite tools and resources, including access to a robust College Kickstart portal.

The fee for the full College Compass program is $3,000 and can conveniently be paid online with a credit card. To find out more, or to reserve your spot in either upcoming Class of 2026 cohort, please reach out!
